This year has blown by as I've been busy exploring motherhood of a one-year old! I've learned so much. Professional ambitions have taken a back seat. I'm still simmering/marinating in the journey of new-mom-hood but there are a couple exciting things to announce.

Most significant is that starting in the Spring, I will be offering Ayurvedic body work at Well Rounded Maternity Center along with my new assistant, Willow. She is a wonderful and experienced Ayurvedic body worker and I'm happy to now have her on board at Well Rounded. The main therapy is a warm oil application that's soul-satisfying for anyone looking for TLC especially for expecting or new mothers who are a "bit" worn out. Look for a new body work page coming soon with more information. Our abhyanga (oil application) is already listed on the services page. We expect to start scheduling in February.

For Valentines Day, treat yourself and a loved one (little ones welcome) to The Practice of Self-Love: Ayurvedic Oil Therapies, also at Well-Rounded. This new workshop will run on Sunday, February 14th. Check the workshops page for the exact timing. You can use the email form to register. The application of warm oil on a daily basis is one of Ayurveda's secrets to good health and longevity. For moms and dads, it can be the difference between feeling worn out and feeling human. Stay tuned for more workshop topics offered at Well-Rounded.

Dancing For Birth classes were put on hold in 2015 ... but there's hope in 2016! Stay tuned.

Another new workshop I'm teaching this year is Healthy Pregnancy offered through Milwaukee Recreation at Bay View High School. Here's the website to sign up. There are workshops offered January 30th & February 27th.

I'll be teaching prenatal yoga at Well Rounded on Saturday mornings (9AM) as usual - alternating with Katrina. Check their calendar to see when I'm teaching.

That's it for now! I hope the new year brings you joy and happiness in whichever form it comes.

Best wishes,
Heather
