Hello! I'm very excited to be gradually returning to teaching after an extended maternity leave. My son, Dorian, our first child, was born April 27 earlier this year. I've enjoyed being with him these 6+ months and he's taught me more than I ever expected to learn from such a little human. He amazes me with his thirst for learning and endless curiosity.

My time with him so far has made me eager to share what I've learned by experience in the way of holistic wellness surrounding pregnancy, postpartum, and infant care. I'm thrilled to now offer holistic health counseling for expectant and new moms at Well-Rounded Maternity Center in Bay View. If you're not familiar, this is a wonderful place for connecting with other families and learning all about pregnancy and more: child birth classes, breastfeeding support, midwifery and doula services, natural products for mom and baby including a great resource cloth diapers. I'm offering a monthly workshop on an Ayurveda or Yoga topic. Starting in January I will also be leading Dancing For Birth classes! On occasion you might even catch me teaching a cloth diapering class, a new passion of mine.

As of January 2015 I will also be returning to Kanyakumari to teach Live Your Balance programming starting with 40 Days To Enlightened Eating, which is based on the book of the same title by friend and fellow Kripalu yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor, Elise Cantrell. I'm looking forward to teaching this course for the first time. It's a 7-week series on Wednesday nights at 6PM. It should be a lot of fun.

As for yoga, I've begun to teach Prenatal yoga intermittently at Well-Rounded Maternity Center (Saturdays 9:30AM) and Yama Yoga (Wednesdays 7PM).

Check out the workshops page for all the details for upcoming classes.

I wish you and your family a happy, healthy holiday season!

Be well,
